Modular Walk-in Test Chambers

The modular walk-in range is available in four capacities:

  • Compact – 10 m³
  • Medium – 16 m³
  • Large – 30 m³
  • Extra Large – 40 m³

All models are available in multiple cooling unit configurations. The Compact version is offered in four variants, with other models available in six.

Cooling Unit

  • Integrated refrigeration and humidification systems control chamber temperature and humidity. The standard version requires mains or tower water for cooling.

Air Treatment Unit

  • High-performance fans circulate air across heat exchangers, heaters and sensors before recirculation.
  • Control is via Pt100 temperature sensor and capacitive humidity probe.

Construction

  • Vapour-tight prefabricated panels designed for repeated assembly and relocation.
  • AISI 304 stainless steel interior, coated steel exterior and 120 mm insulation.

A Cost-Effective Solution

To reduce delivery times to approximately twelve weeks or less, and to avoid the additional design and engineering costs typically associated with fully customised walk-in chambers, a modular configuration provides a practical alternative.

The system is based on four core elements that can be combined to suit the majority of application requirements:

  • Cooling unit
  • Air treatment unit
  • User interface
  • Test room

This modular approach offers flexibility, predictable lead times and controlled project costs without compromising performance.

The chamber is controlled by a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), managing all operational functions and safety interlocks to ensure stable and secure performance.

A dedicated interface enables control via tablets and smartphones, as well as secure remote internet access.

Multiple chambers can be connected in cluster mode, allowing centralised supervision from a single control point.

MyKratos™ incorporates MyAngel24™, a remote teleassistance system that maintains a continuous 24-hour connection to a secure server, monitoring operating conditions and identifying anomalies to support faster and more efficient service and maintenance response.
