Test Chamber Calibration

Precision Calibration for Reliable Results
In today’s quality-driven industries, confidence in environmental test data is critical. Inadequately calibrated chambers can result in:
- False pass results, increasing warranty and product risk
- False fail results, leading to unnecessary investigation and cost
- Compromised audit compliance
- Loss of repeatability and measurement confidence
Our calibration service verifies the performance of the complete chamber system – not just individual components.
We use calibrated monitoring sensors positioned within the working envelope and at the control point to measure true environmental conditions. All equipment used by our engineers is UKAS calibrated.
Calibration Capabilities
Temperature
- Multipoint:
PC based temperature logging system with up to 16 1/10 Din PT100 sensors - Two-point:
Eurotherm automated logging thermometer
Humidity
- Multipoint:
Michell Optidew Condensation Hygrometer, directly linked to PC based logging system - Two-point:
Eurotherm automated logging hygrometer using Rotronic capacitive sensor
Vacuum
- Drück pressure indicator type DPI 10
Calibration Methods
We offer two types of calibration:
1. Standard Calibration
Traceable to national standards.
Reports include:
- Temperature and humidity readings
- Indication of instability
- Full calibration certificate
2. UKAS Calibration
Undertaken by our UKAS accredited calibration laboratory No. 9735 in accordance with ISO 17025:2017.
UKAS calibration includes:
- Measurement uncertainty values
- UKAS logo and laboratory number on certificate
- Calibration label applied to equipment
- Calibration carried out by approved UKAS engineers

Calibration Configurations
Climatic Chambers
- Two-point calibration (centre of chamber and control point)
- Multipoint calibration (temperature/humidity mapping using nine sensors)
- Standard quotation includes five temperature setpoints and four humidity setpoints
- Additional setpoints available on request
Ovens
- Three temperature setpoints included
Fridges and Freezers
- Maximum and minimum temperatures recorded
- Measurements taken over at least three cyclic periods
- Readings typically recorded at 30-second intervals
A calibration certificate and label are issued upon completion of analysed results and achievement of agreed pass/fail criteria.
